We know of organic and naturally occurring fertilizers like animal manure, but because of the difficulty in collection and production of such fertilizers on a large scale, most farmers prefer to go for synthetically manufactured fertilizers. These fertilizers contain chemical nutrients like phosphorus, nitrogen, and potassium in fixed proportions. When they are added to the soil directly or after dissolving in water, the chemical reactions between the acidic and alkaline elements of the fertilizer and soil releases the required nutrients into the soil which improve crop yield and also improve the quality and texture of the soil. Let us look at two specific kinds of chemical fertilizers.

Monoammonium phosphate fertilizers are usually referred to as MAP. It is a significant granular fertilizer that has been in use for several years. MAP releases nitrogen and phosphorus into the soil bed. Depending on the brand, up to 12% of nitrogen can be released, and almost 60% of phosphorus compounds. This fertilizer is mildly acidic in nature and has a pH of less than 5. Almost 400 grams of this water soluble fertilizer can dissolve in a liter of water. The water solution of this fertilizer is usually added into the soil surrounding the plant, but sometimes farmers also apply it on the foliage of the plants. There are a number of Mono Ammonium Phosphate Manufacturers in Pune , and the correct dosage would be explained to the farmer at the time of purchase.

MAP is commonly used in high PH and neutral soil types and usually applied on the soil surface with close proximity to the surface beds and growing roots. It is spread across the field through irrigation water or foliar spray. Made up of pure H3PO4, mono ammonium phosphate gets readily dissolved in water and can be dispersed across the surface soil. No added precautions are required when MAP is used as a fertilizer. Overall, it is also known for its handling good storage properties and today mono ammonium phosphate fertilizer is quite popular in the fertilizer industry.

MAP is one of the high one of the preferred fertilizers among horticultural units, nurseries, big scale farmers and even residential gardeners. It can even be mixed with any other fertilizers that do not include calcium. pH levels of this particular fertilizer is considered constant and generally at 4.5 and that even proves to be ideal in the overall environmental conditions for the crops to grow.

In order to prevent certain types of plant diseases like blossom end rot, calcium is also needed by plants, which requires application of certain fertilizers like calcium nitrate. The nitrogen released is supplemented by the calcium obtained from this calcium nitrate fertilizer, which prevents calcium deficiency in the crops and plants. Although farmers have reported good results for tomato, apple and pepper, but it is still a good idea to test the soil type before opting for calcium nitrate fertilizers. The Calcium Nitrate Granular Manufacturers in Pune would be able to also help in testing the soil to determine soil type.
