SSAW steel pipe is mainly used in tap water engineering, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, power industry, agricultural irrigation, urban construction and so on. For liquid transport: water supply, drainage. For gas transportation: gas, steam, liquefied petroleum gas. Used for structural purposes: as pile-driving pipe, bridge, wharf, road, building structure pipe, etc.

In the bridge structure, steel pipe is used to weld the pipe body on both sides. The manufactured pipe body has better tensile strength and compressive strength and can be applied to the project better. Based on strip coils as raw materials, it is often heated and extruded to form an automatic double-wire double-sided submerged arc welding process.

Reasons for problems1. The steel temperature instability is yin and yang. The composition of the steel is not uniform. Folding is a variety of fold lines formed on the surface of a spiral steel pipe, and this defect often runs through the entire product.

  1. The pursuit of high efficiency, the amount of reduction is too large, resulting in ears, the next rolling will produce folds, folded products will crack after bending, thick-walled spiral steel pipe strength decreased.
  2. Uneven material, more impurities.
  3. The temperature is not standard. Their steel temperature is measured visually, so that it cannot be rolled in the specified austenitic area. Mechanical analysis of the angle when the seamless steel pipe is subjected to internal pressure, it usually produces two main stresses on the pipe wall, namely radial stress? and axial stress. The stress is synthesized at the weld, where? is the helix angle of the weld of the spiral welded pipe. The helix angle of spiral steel pipe weld is generally degree, so the synthetic stress at the spiral weld joint is the principal stress of the longitudinal welded pipe. At the same working pressure, the spiral welded pipe with the same pipe diameter can reduce the wall thickness of the welded pipe compared to the straight welded pipe. Because the radial stress is the maximum stress on the steel pipe, the weld is subjected to the maximum load in the direction of vertical stress. That is, the straight seam bears the largest load, and the circumferential welded seam has the smallest load and the spiral seam is between the two.
