When I first tried out the Dyson DC25 Ball Best Vacuum for Dog Hair, I noticed right away how easy it was to twist and turn. The way it moves with the ball really made a difference. It was easy to pull and push through my home. There was no problem getting round the furniture and after vacuuming the whole house I wasn't out of breath. Since this model is upright there's no bending involved. Not having to bend is important to me as I have some back problems.

I was very pleased to find the ease of vacuuming with the Dyson DC25 wasn't the only noticeable advantage. The vacuum demonstrated a powerful suction action that left floors and carpets dust free.

There are two cats and a dog in my household. The rule is they don't enter the living room. However, my two kids sneak them in every opportunity they get. The mini turbine head made specifically for picking up pet hair gets rid of the problem easily and quickly. Before guests arrive I simply sweep the turbine head over my furniture - no more hair.

Dyson has been manufacturing top quality products for many years. To me, the name is established as one that can be trusted. This was one of the factors I found most attractive. Like most people today I also live according to a tight budget. I can't afford to waste money on a product that is not suited to my household. Nor can I waste money on a product that doesn't have the quality to deal with years of wear and tear.

Like most people, I don't do household chores because I enjoy it. I do it because it's a necessity. The Dyson Ball vacuum is very easy to operate and I do appreciate the quick cleaning it provides. With two kids and three pets constantly trailing some or other debris through the house the Dyson is my daily companion. After a few months of heavy use, I can say that it's coping well with the constant wear and tear.

There are times when I am hard pressed for time because I work from home. Lately, I've been delegating the vacuuming to my kids. Due to the simplicity of the Best Vacuum Under 200 Dyson DC25 I was confident the kids could handle it. They listen to their ipods and dance around with the vacuum cleaner because it moves and swivels in any direction they choose. They don't seem to mind, the house is clean, I get to keep my deadline and they're even keeping the pets in their designated area because they can see how much pet hair ends up on the carpeting.

What's the Difference Between the DC25 Animal and the DC25 All Floors?

Dyson offers two versions of this vacuum cleaner - the DC25 Animal, and the DC25 All Floors. So, what's the difference you ask? They are exactly the same except that only the Animal model comes with the mini turbine head for getting pet hair out of furniture. Oh, and the Animal model is purple whereas the All Floors model is yellow. Other than that, there is no difference between them. If you don't have pets like I do, then you can save a few bucks and go with the All Floors model. If you decide you want the mini turbine head attachment later, they sell it separately.

The Dyson DC25 has the following features:

  • Mini turbine head picks up pet hair
  • Cyclone technology patented
  • Accessory tools combo
  • Positioned on ball for easy maneuvering
  • Stair tool
