But as we all are aware of the fact, that nothing is perfect in this world and same law is applied to this streaming device. Like every other gadget, Roku also has some shortcomings. And to troubleshoot these situations, it is wise to take System> Press Power Button> System Restart.

If you are using some older device of Roku then you can perform the soft reset by simply pressing the button which is placed at the back of the streaming device.

How to Perform Hard Reset?

Performing a hard reset may change your device’ settings and wipes all the data. That’s why it is least recommended method. If you are using Roku Ultra then you have to follow these steps:

Go to Settings> System> Advanced System Settings> and then Factory Reset.

However, if you are using any other Roku device then follow these simple steps:

Remove all the cords except power cable> Press and hold the button which is placed at the back of the device. Hold it for few seconds and simultaneously remove the power cord. Release the button and wait for few minutes then connect the cable to the device.
