Fairy gardens can be full of adventure. Some feature boats, bridges, flying fairies, surfboards, treehouses, and other miniature accessories relating to life experiences. In addition to energetic opportunities for exploration, a garden can also provide the always-important element of relaxation. What better places for fairies to sit, breathe, rest, and recalibrate than in the peaceful environment of a miniature garden? When it comes to finding just the right seating for your garden, it can seem like the options are endless. Luckily, we have broken it down into a few key categories and included personal suggestions.

NATURAL AND EARTHYIf your garden is full of plants, soil, water, and other natural elements, you may want to keep your miniature accessories in the same theme. Woodland chairs and benches will fit right in with the forest or timberland that is the central focus of your fairy garden - although, if you are not careful, they may blend into the garden itself. Therefore, consider varying the design elements of color, texture, and pattern when selecting natural and earthy miniature accessories.

Adirondack Chair: This piece has a classic Adirondack shape with an unpainted, unfinished natural wood look. It fits comfortably into a beach scene or a garden full of miniature plants.

Appalachian Bench: Sometimes wee folk do not want to sit alone-they would rather squeeze two or three garden fairies side-by-side on a bench! The Appalachian Bench, with its woodsy character, will certainly do the trick. It appears to have been constructed out of bent twigs gathered from the miniature garden forest floor. Though it looks rustic, this polyresin accessory will undoubtedly hold up in the summertime weather.

Vine Twig Bench: For an artistic "twist" on the natural-looking bench, check out this unique version. While the entire frame appears to be made out of twigs, delicate vines snake their way around and through the bench’s back and sides. Nestled under a tree or within some green miniature plants, you may have to look twice to see this sneaky piece of furniture. Add an accent pillow to bring additional color into the fairy garden.

WHIMSICAL AND FUNMiniature gardens have the opportunity to bring a sense of peace, to awaken the senses, and even to bring some whimsy and delight. For a bright garden, that emphasizes fun, look to bold colors and shapes, along with industrial materials and artistic features.

Butterfly Chair: This chair might appear delicate at first, but it is made of colorfully painted metal to create a sturdy miniature accessory. With a butterfly forming the seat of this little chair, the fairies in your miniature garden will be sure to smile as they sit. Choose from a collection of cheerful colors in blue, orange, pink, and yellow.

Striped Beach Chair: Summer weather calls for some time spent sunbathing on the beach. What better pick than a simple retro chair made of brightly painted resin? Mermaids, fairies, and other miniature garden visitors will get a kick out of this fold-up style piece of furniture.

Flower Bench: In a miniature garden, have you ever seen a bench that is a flowering bloom? This seating option is the definition of a whimsical, fairy-friendly, and fun miniature accessory.

CLASSICSometimes you want your miniature garden to have a classic, clean look that almost mimics your human-sized backyard. If you are going for this more traditional look, search for neutral colors and strong, simple lines when choosing furniture pieces.

Classic Adirondack Chair: We return to the Adirondack shape, but this white painted model is thick and study. With the traditional fanned back and wide armrests, this miniature accessory is a "comfy" place to relax the day away, be it near the water or deep within the fairy garden.

Ivory Bench with Carvings: This miniature accessory has a more formal personality. Made of resin and painted a soft cream color, the bench shows its femininity through graceful details while maintaining a sturdy and robust shape.

Wooden Rocking Chair: Every miniature garden needs a classic wooden rocking chair. Painted brown, the Wooden Rocking Chair, will remind you of days gone by in the fairy garden. When the breeze blows, you will be able to see the chair rocking back and forth, back and forth, back and…

Sit a spell in the fairy garden to enjoy your collection of garden accessories. Whether the theme is natural and earthy, whimsical and fun, or classical and modern your fairies will be happy that you designed a well-thought-out retreat for the tiny people living in the miniature garden.
