Harjes Downer Expands Presence across Asia and Adds Institutional Consulting Team

Harjes Downer, an independent investment management firm committed to enabling clients to become high-performance businesses, announced today that it has hired a dedicated team of seven investment professionals to serve institutional and individual clients across Asia.

Based in Singapore, the team includes two Institutional Consulting Directors: Shen Chan and Henry Lee, both Managing Directors. They will be joined by Daniel Tay, company President and Team Leader. The team further consists of an Institutional Consulting Associate, a Senior Client Service Associate and a Consulting Group Analyst. The team oversees client assets of substantial value, which includes corporations, endowments and foundations, health care organizations, insurance entities, state and local governments, family offices and high net worth individuals. They join from the Consulting Branch of a recognized international bank.

The consulting team was established towards the end of the previous century, and both Shen and Henry have decades of professional experience in the industry. Shen Chan received his bachelor’s degree from a world-class international College. Tim is a graduate of a top New York University. Both hold Analyst certification from international Institutes affiliated to some of the leading Business Schools from around the globe.
