1. Indian Parliament to begin its monsoon session from the 18th of July. The special feature of this monsoon session is that Rajya Sabha MPs can now speak in any of the 22 languages listed in the 8th schedule of the constitution. The Rajyasabha chairman and vice president of India M. Venkaiah Naidu said he has formally inducted 5 interpreters for interpretation facility of languages such as santhali, Konkani, Sindhi, Kashmiri, and dogri which were earlier not translated as interepretation services for 12 languages were only facilitated earlier. Naidu said he feels that mother toungue is the natural medium to convey our feelings and thoughts.speaker

Ahead of the monsoon session on Tuesday Lok Sabha speaker, Sumitra Mahajan expressed her concern about the distruption of the parliament sessions frequently by the Member of parliament. In a letter released to the media on Tuesday, Mahajan appealed to the MPs that the tenure of the 16th lok sabha is in its final year and only three sessions are left in hand to justify the parties proper behaviour and conduct. She warned that the business of the house shall not to be disrupted by any party.

Nitin Gadkari on an Interview with a leading News agency said that he defends the action of Jayant Sinha and Giriraj Singh and said that debating on such issues which can disturb the unity, integrity and trust of communities around the nation stands Irrelevant. The MP from Hazaribagh of Jharkhand Jayant Sinha sparked controversies on meeting the lynch mobs involved in the lynching of Alimuddin Ansari in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand last year in June. While Sinha defeted any charge of violence and vigilantism upon him. Same went with BJP MP Giriraj Singh from Bihar.
  2. Delhi`s governer Anil Baijal makes a bureaucratic reshuffle ahead of the charges made upon him that he control services in an illegal manner by Delhi's elected govt. and Aam aadmi Party. Anil Baijal has transferred 3 IAS officers despite the Delhi govt`s notification. The transfer of Special Commissioner Sanjay Goel was made as the new director of Education Department. While the South Delhi Municipal Commissioner Chanchal Yadav will serve as LG`s special secretary. The shift in designation were made amidst the Delhi`s govt. non-consent which shows the power tussle between the centre and Aam aadmi party.
  3. Bihar Congress Leader said on Tuesday that Nitish Kumar should exit from the grand alliance, and lashed out the JDU party for making remarks on Rahul Gandhi the national congress leader. The JDU party said that it had removed support from the AICC when they took a stand on the corrupt cases of RJD leaders last year.
