Seth Jai Parkash Mukand Lal Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 1995 by Seth Ved Prakash Mukand Lal Educational Society. JMIT has been affiliated by Kurukshetra University and is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has ratings above average. JMIT is a semi government college and part of the Mukand family with private ownership in the Haryana state. It is situated on the National Highway 73. Counted as one of the best colleges in India, JMIT is among the top 10 colleges of Haryana state. JMIT, Yamunanagar has a range of about12 courses across 3 streams namely Management, Engineering and Information Technology. There are across 4 degree courses, i.e. M.Tech, B.Tech, MBA and MCA.
