Sequential number:To identify any individual products you can use 3 or 4 digit sequential numbers. Such as 001, 002...999 or 0001,0002...9999. See Below :

Other identifiers: Your business may have some other identifiers such as Department Identifier,Store or Location Identifier,Supplier Identifier,Variation Identifier and so on. You use same as above policies to identify any identifiers.
