CRY's Contribution To The Children Of Our Country

India oscillates between economic developments on one hand and poverty on another. Underneath the umbrella of poverty, there are several issues that come in. Some of the problems in India are child labour, child marriage, malnutrition, poverty, education, gender inequality and child trafficking. It is not an easy nut to crack but there are a lot of people who are working hard to shape up the country. Several non-government organizations in India have been consistently working to do everything that is possible. One among these NGOs is Child Rights and You.

For the last four decades, CRY has been actively engaged in working for the underprivileged children. The non government organization works on areas like child labour, child marriage, malnutrition, poverty, education, gender inequality and child trafficking. Over the last years, CRY has displayed its mettle in giving happy childhoods to the underprivileged children.

364, 818 children have been positively impacted in 2017-18. The CRY team has worked hard to provide what children deserve. Some of the recent developments include:

• 10,114 children immunized
• 13,330 protected from malnutrition
• 193,511 children in school
• 804 child labour free villages/slums

CRY doesn’t stop here, it continues to keep up the actions. The NGO is working passionately to make sure children receive happy and healthy childhoods. CRY as an organization works hard to eradicate the problems that are hampering the lives of the children and gift them a healthy and comfortable living. CRY team wants to see the underprivileged children achieve their dreams and goals.
