IIM Ahmedabad: Admission in PGPX programme 2019 started

With increased demand for qualified and experienced managers in the industries throughout the world, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) in 2006 came up with the full time one-year residential management programme. The specially designed programme of IIMA is called Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX) is one of the globally acclaimed finest management programmes for talented, dynamic and ambitious executives with experience of working in the sector and wishes to achieve more success professionally.

Being the best in the list, PGPX from last five years since it’s started has always been in the top or at least second top in the list of Financial Times Global MBA Rankings for worldwide in Career Progress. In the year 2015 IIMA was awarded number one in the world by The Economist under the category of a school to open the new career.

Eligibility for PGPX Programme 2019:

Candidate applying for the PGPX programme must have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized Institute or University.

Candidate age should be minimum 25 years as on 31st March 2019. There is no upper age limit for the applying candidate and also the year of passing the last qualifying exam will not affect the chance of admission into the programme.

Applying candidate must have appeared for the GMAT/GRE and should have a valid score. The scores obtained at GMAT/GRE are valid only for five years form the last date of accepting the application. For example, the candidate who has appeared into or after the GMAT/GRE test of September 4, 2013(Round 1) and November 6, 2013(Round 2) are acceptable.

A minimum experience of working full time for 4 years post completing graduation degree is needed.

Application/Registration Process:

Candidates who are eligible and want to enroll for the mentioned program can fill the application for directly on the official website of IIMA www.iima.ac.in. For PGPX 2019 batch candidate will be chosen in 2 rounds, the last date of to fill the application form is September 3, 2018, by 11.59 PM IST for round 1 and for round 2 applications can only be filled till November 5, 2018, by 11.59 PM IST. Unlike other premier management institutes, essays or recommendation letter along with the application is not required to apply for PGPX at IIM Ahmedabad, once an application is selected a separate time slot will be given to submit the essay.

Application Fee:

The application fee for applying is different depending on the time slot candidate is applying as mentioned below:

Candidates applying on or before 11:59 pm (IST) on September 3, 2018, application fee Rs. 5, 000.

For candidates applying between 10:00 am (IST) on September 6, 2018, and 11:59 pm (IST) on November 5, 2018 application fee is Rs. 7, 500.

Admission process for PGPX programme:
