The 86 year old had a YouTube Channel named ‘geriatric1927’ and is popularly known as the grandfather of the internet. He lived in England and at one time he was the most subscribed person on YouTube. Although he was a pensioner, he lived his golden years sharing his life experiences with millions. He had served as a radar mechanic during World War II and he used to tell stories about that. He suddenly rose to fame after his first video went viral in which he told about his love for motorcycles and his life as a widower. He uploaded 434 videos from 2006 to 2014 and people are still getting entertained by his emotions and humor.

3. Great Depression Cooking

This is one of the most popular online cooking show that starred a 94 year old woman, Clara. Clara had survived the great depression period of America along with her parents. During the economic crises Clara’s mother used to make cheap and delicious food with limited resources. Clara brought that thought into action and hosted an online cooking show on YouTube where she taught people on how to make delicious and tasty inexpensive food using simple things. Although Clara died at the age of 98, her show is still greatly watched around the globe for tasty and cheap cooking recipes.
