Cancer, also known as the abnormal growth of cells in a particular body part can prove fatal in a majority of cases. One such life-threatening cancer type is blood cancer. People with blood cancer can have their entire circulatory system damaged due to the abnormal growth of the cells. This particular type of cancer can impact the patient's blood production rate significantly. Apart from that. Blood cancer can also impact other important functions of the body including, blood circulation and blood purification. In a few cases, blood cancer can impact the bone marrow of the patient.

Blood cancer can be classified into three types namely,

  1. leukemia
  2. Lyphoma
  3. Mylemoa

In the first type, the rate of blood formation reduces. Whereas, in the second type of blood cancer i.e. lyphoma, the white blood corpuscles are affected. Finally, Myeloma occurs when the formation of plasma can be hampered by cancer cells.

Blood cancer consists of several stages where each stage is even more serious than the previous stage. As the blood cancer begins to develop, cancerous cells start growing in patient's lymph. This is the first stage of blood cancer. As cancer reaches the second stage, the growth of cells extends and reaches other body parts such as the spleen and liver. Development of anemia marks the onset of the third stage. Finally, the growth of cancer cells reaches a level where the patient is likely to die.

The mortality rate associated with blood cancer can be reduced by detecting the symptoms on an early basis. When the patient is able to identify the symptoms beforehand, he or she can go for a diagnosis and treatment without losing time. However, in order to detect and commence treatment early, one should be aware of the symptoms that may include,

Tremendous weakness and fatigue: Weakness and fatigue are one of the few symptoms that arise in the patient with blood cancer at its early stage. In case you are experiencing symptoms such as constant tiredness and chronic weakness, you must get yourself checked.

Word of caution: Taking these symptoms lightly can do more than good; the stage of cancer can increase if left untreated.

Unexplained weight loss: Loss of weight and appetite suddenly can be a symptom of blood cancer. Though thyroid too includes similar signs, a drastic weight loss can be due to blood cancer. Hence, one must see a doctor and undergo a blood screening test or exam. The blood reports will be screened by the doctor in concern to evaluate whether you have blood cancer or not.

Abnormal blood reports: You must see an oncologist if the results of your blood reports are abnormal. If the oncologist detects cancer, the treatment can be started.

Swollen lymph nodes: Blood cancer can cause swelling in the lymph nodes. This swelling can be accompanied by nausea, weakness, fever, and food aversion.

Chronic infection: If you are suffering from blood cancer, then chances are high that you will be susceptible to infections. This is due to low immunity that results from the blood cancer which in turn makes you open to infections.

If you have been experiencing any of the above-mentioned symptoms, make sure to get a blood cancer cure in India as early as possible.
