GWA1000FC-1A4: Simply un-scathing

Introducing the GWA1000FC-1A4 as one of the superlative forms of superbly 'tough watches' (it's synonymous to the G-Shock aviation family most of the times) that are built to keep company not only with aviators. It's for anyone who digs speed.

An avid aviator (even the pro level), no doubt shall relish now his/her free fall (Ideal falling motion of an object from a distance upwards, subjected only to earth’s gravitational field) from serious heights. Descending towards earth's central gravity is no joke unless there's this G-Shock aviation model is on hand.

The functions to calculate the fall and controlling it or driving off-road can be fun, but your watch must live to do that. It's Triple-G Resist taking care of it and a few more spectacular features that are indifferent towards Gravity, Centrifuge and Vibration. It took the watch undergo 3 different extreme tests to qualify, some components crossing the boundaries of logical reasoning.

For example, the gravitational-force test. Gradually taken to 15G (the max limit; rated ISO 2269), it was done to see how much it can withstand. The Triple-G hence says nothing about it. Or, take the vibration test that outran JIS D1601 Class 4A (Japan Industrial) Standard.

In short, every GWA1000FC-1A4 is built to exceed the 20G acceleration. A fighter jet pilot seldom reaches 12G; for F1 bike racing, it is 6; while the Apollo 16 re-entry went to 7G.

So, what do you get? - A logical piece from Casio compass watch that doesn't require making judgments. Its projection of a more rugged look is definitely the preference of the majority. A tough watch must also look tough - if you share the same philosophy, this one's for you!

Before packing up, here's some quick lowdown on the tech sides.

a. Smart Access: This is a simple, intuitive way to make the watch work your way. Pull the crown to the level you desire. Each level activates a particular mode activating one/multiple independent motor(s) that function simultaneously and conflict-free. Smart Access enables smooth switching between functions.

b. Tough movement: An original, thin, analog movement by Casio baby g shock watch. Its hybrid mounting is its protection against the natural, damaging forces. It is built to set 'home time' all by itself. Powered by the Tough Solar technology, it generates more power than the functions may guzzle. The in-built temperature sensor senses the atmospheric temperature at all heights, all time.

c. Multi-Band 6 time calibration signal reception: Relieves you from the duty of setting time manually (but you can do it anyway turning the radio signal option on or off). It does so by receiving time-calibration signals (six transmission stations out there to send them out). All you do is select new country or region you want the time for.

To end, there's some fine resin. This one is the polyamide type. It's strong, light, anti-corrosive; resistant to UV discoloration and certified a Class VI product by the U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USPC). That's a lot going into a watch.
