Being an artificial environment, virtual reality technology is created with software and presented as a real environment. With the aid of this technology, users can experience a three-dimensional environment during the playing game. Due to FIFA world cup 2018, VR will get a big achievement in this year. Virtual reality is being highly appreciated by NBC Universal/Telemundo companies to enhance the popularity of world’s largest sporting events among the fans. Where VR is not dependent on both hardware and software, it depends on the marketing and gaming field.

One of the world’s biggest confusion is the difference between AR & VR. Both technologies are coming in the attention of media as well as are promising the tremendous growth in the world. Whereas the virtual reality is a recreation of a real-life environment on one side, the argument really is an interactive experience of the real-world environment. For misting these difference line between virtual reality and actual reality, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced a new chip that is a powerful new graphics architecture at the 2018 event SIGGRAPH of the company in Vancouver, Canada.

This graphics architecture is called turning chips that are widely used for producing the realistic quality interactive experiences and liquid intelligence on highly complex models. With Turing chip, various lighting effects can mimic real life.

Professor of both computer and electrical engineering at the Riverside California's university who is Wong said, " we are moving from a artwork to a photograph in a rendering quality way". Also, he told TechNewsWorld, "this turning architecture of virtual reality will give permission to developers for creating the realistic games".

Wong said in a statement to the TechNewsWorld, "when you play the game then you looks everything real due to ray tracking and lighting effects". It is expected, that time will not soo far when you will play a virtual reality game without telling difference between the VR world and real world, only with the aid of ray tracing.

Mass Rendering’s engines

In order to make possible real-time ray tracing, Turing chip incorporates two engines at the US$250 billion visual effects industry. Whereas RT cores are used for ray tracing, tensor cores accelerate AI reference. Nvidia also explained, "RT increases the light and sound travel in a 3D environment to up to 10 Gigarays in a second but Turing enhances this rat tracing operation by up to 25 times more than previous chips".

Nvidia also announced an RTX development platform which comes with AI, software development kits and ray tracing. Being a deep learning technology, this platform helps developers to enhance graphics, photo imaging, and video processing into applications with trained networks. "Over more than a decade, Turing chip is the best innovation of Nvidia in computer graphics", Huang said.

In this article, you have read about the virtual reality and Turing chip which opens door to new virtual reality era. Turing chip is a technology which has the capability to obscure the line of virtual reality and augmented reality. Also, with this ray tracing, you can convert painting into reality.
