The different 3D printers use different printing technologies like digital light processing (DLP), Stereolithography (SLA), Electron Beam Melting (EBM) and others.
- Digital Light Processing (DLP) – DLP is a widely used 3D printer processing system and it is the same as stereolithography and effectively work on those 3D printers that work with photopolymers. DLP uses an arc lamp with an LCD panel as well. Example 3D Printer is –
- Stereolithography (SL): is the same as DLP, but the major difference is that It works on laser-based technique means UV laser beam and do the work with resin.
- Electron Beam Melting (EBM): It is a layer by layer printing process, as it melted by a powerful electron beam and the layers melted the exactly as per geometry defined in your CAD model.
A 3D Printer can be used in different industry as per its requirement.
