If you want some traditional beauty advice, your need to read the article below. The below article provides some excellent tips and secrets on maximizing your inward and outward beauty.

An odd but great trick is to apply Vaseline to your eyebrows right before you head to bed. This helps them look shiny and better. Be careful you don't get Vaseline anywhere else on your face, because it can lead to unwelcome breakouts of pimples.

If you have striking brown eyes, you can play them up by adding eyeshadow, liner, and mascara in colors that are especially flattering for your eye color. Look for rich, matte shadows in shades of green, copper, and blue. These colors add depth and intensity to your eye color, especially when topped with a few coats of navy mascara.

Regardless of how hard we try to maintain a clear complexion, almost everyone deals with acne and pimples at some point. To get rid of a pimple quickly, put a dab of toothpaste on it. Do not wash off the toothpaste until approximately ten minutes has passed. Doing so will dry up the pimple.

Apply eye shadow to seal in eyeliner. When you are making up your eyes, apply your liner before your eye shadow. Then, when applying the shadow, slightly dampen a cotton swab and add some eye shadow. Smooth this over the liner and you will find it lasts much longer.

Do you always scratch and chip nails after polishing them? Use a top coat, and that will keep your nails looking glossy and shiny for up to a week! This is not the same as regular clear nail polish, so do not confuse the two. Choose a product which says "top coat" on it.

A handy beauty tip is to add a little nail polish remover to your nail polish. This helps to thin the nail polish out and make it last a little longer. It is also a good technique to use when your nail polish is a little older and has started to thicken up a bit.

Tone down a lipstick that is too bold or bright. A great way to make an overly pigmented shade easier on the eyes is to put some on the back of your hand, dab it with foundation, mix, and apply to lips. Your new shade should now be a better match for your tone.

If you are armed with the information you need, you can create beauty at any age. Now after reading this article you should have some excellent knowledge about beauty as you continue to age. Get out there and wow the world!
