Naan is originally from Punjab, but its presence is all across the world. Whenever we visit any restaurants or dhaba, we prefer to order naan in our main course because of the misconception that it is too difficult to make it at home. And also, we find it unhealthy because of the use of plain flour (maida).

Here is the list of naan’s which you can surely try at your home which is easy to make and healthy options for your lunch or dinner.

  1. Soya Naan:- Generally we see that naan is made up of plain flour (maida) which is not considered as healthy. So, with giving a healthy twist to the recipe, in place of plain flour, soya flour is used to make soya naan. Soya is considered one of the healthy and cheap sources of protein. This Soya naan is not only nutritious but also very easy to prepare. In this type of naan, wheat flour is fortificate with soya flour along with curd and soya oil. So, now you can understand, how nutritious this naan is gonna be because curd containing its coolness and also protein with other benefits.
  2. Whole wheat Coriander and Sesame Seeds Naan:- Wow, the name says it all. Combination of whole wheat and sesame seeds are enough for any recipe. The whiff of this attractive naan is enough to please your appetite. The smell and flavors of coriander and sesame seeds make this naan a perfect choice for your main course. This can be used not only at the functions or events but also as regular use at your home.

This whole wheat coriander and sesame seed naan need to be served hot, after brushing butter on the top. You can try with any of the sabzis of your choice.

3. The Galouti Kebab on Crispy Naan:- This is the perfect dish for any kind of event, function or celebration. As this recipe is not only attractive in terms of its appearance but also rich in vitamins, protein, and nutrients. This is said to be a perfect dish because it does not require any sabzi or dal to accompany it. It has a kebab which is made up of rajma which brings awesome flavor to capture anybody’s attention.

Its bite-sized pieces of naan which are topped with galouti kebabs, made of blended rajma, brown onion paste, and masalas, and finally garnished with a creamy topping of mayonnaise and mint chutney makes it a dish which everyone should surely try.
