Pay attention when your child is reading. Are his eyes skipping some of the words while he is reading? Skipping of words leads to losing the line that he was reading or lead to confusion that where was he. Most of the people look forward while they are reading something. Notice, that while reading, whether your child’s eyes are experiencing too much movement and pressure. If yes, then most probably his eyes are undergoing through overworking. With constant motion of eyes, one cannot read properly, in fact, reading can be done in a perfect manner only if the eyes pause on the words. Rapid movement results in lack of intellectual capacity and vision stress. To prevent "overworking", it is better that you select a portion for your kid and then let your child chunk the words jointly in parentheses. Prevent your child from reading in mind. When your child reads in mind, you may not know whether he is pronouncing the words properly or not and he may worsen his reading habits.
