Buying fruits and vegetables from the market is something that very few of us have the time for. You can place your orders while you’re in your office and have the food delivered to your home when you get there. It’s that convenient.

So here are some healthy lunch recipes that you can make for your office, rather eating out every day.

1. Moong Dal Khichdi: This protein rich khichdi is full of goodness and low in calories. All you need is sprouted moong and rice. The recipe is simple, in a pressure cooker add your soaked green moong dal and rice. Add about 2 cups of what to the cooker. You can add any spices you want depending on your taste. Add salt to taste and let it cook for 20 minutes. You can have this Khichdi with pickle.

2. Sprouts salad: Sprouts are incredibly healthy and filling. Now you don’t even have to worry about soaking them the night before. You can now also buy sprouts online. Take any sprouts of your choice in a bowl, add greens like lettuce, spinach, kale and fresh veggies like scucumber, tomatoes and carrots. For the dressing you can keep it as simple as lemon juice and salt and pepper. This salad is high in protein and will give you lots of energy to work through the day.

3. Masala Poha: Poha or flat rice is another great light lunch that is filling and delicious and healthy all at the same time. The recipe simple and the cooking time is also 10 to 15 minutes. In a pan heat very little oil. When the oil is hot, add mustard seeds, hing, finely chopped green chilli, curry leaves and some turmeric powder. Soak your Poha in water for two minutes.
