Male Organ Sunburn -- When Tanning Goes Horribly Wrong

When summer comes around, everyone is ready to get outside and soak up some rays. Unfortunately, sometimes the sunscreen gets forgotten -- or purposely skipped -- in the effort to chase that summer glow. Most men have dealt with sun-burned shoulders, arms, back and chest and know just what to do in those situations. But what happens when an exotic sunbathing trip or a too-long tanning booth session goes horribly wrong and burns the male organ? A crispy Johnson is none too fun and can be one of the most painful summer ailments a man ever has to endure. Learn how to take care of the situation and restore male organ health, as well as when to see a doctor.

Male Organ Sunburn – Say What?

While it is a problem the modest man may never have to deal with, men who like to be out there in the summertime are at high risk for getting a male organ sunburn. A man may think he is impervious to sunburn down there because it doesn’t happen often, but that is all the more reason to take precautions. The male organ is generally well-protected from the elements – especially the sun – simply because it is socially unacceptable to walk around unclothed in the general community. But a man deciding to visit a naturalist beach, lay out in his own back yard, or step into a tanning booth, puts his most delicate area at risk for getting burnt. Because it is an area that doesn’t often see the light of day, it takes minimal exposure for the male organ to crisp up – so if a guy just has to feel the heat of the sun, he should do so for limited amounts of time.

How to Heal a Burnt Male Organ

Just like any other area of skin that is burnt, a man needs to take care of the skin to help it heal. The following tips to healing burnt skin can be applied to the male organ:

  1. Wear loose clothing – Tight, constricting jeans or underwear are only going to rub against the delicate, sore skin, increasing chafing, peeling and general discomfort.
  2. Apply ice as needed – Severe sunburns can result in swelling, blistering, pealing, cracking, and bleeding. When the skin becomes that irritated, sometimes a cool compress or ice pack is just what the male organ needs to feel better. Avoid applying ice directly to the skin, though, or a man might end up adding frostbite to his list of woes.
  3. Soothe the skin – Most people enjoy the cool feeling of Aloe Vera gel on their skin when it is burnt. While it can be soothing to the skin, certain formulations may sting the more delicate male organ, especially if it gets into the tip. A better way of soothing is to use a male organ specific lotion containing vitamin E and Shea Butter, which are equally healing and are not likely to add to the sting.
  4. When in doubt, go to the doctor – Very rarely, sunburn is severe enough that medical treatment is needed. If the male organ is blistering, oozing, and bleeding or doesn’t seem to get any better, a trip to the doc is indicated. A doctor can prescribe medication to help heal the skin and prevent infection – which is the biggest risk for severe sunburn. A doc may also be able to provide medication to help with the pain – which can be unbearable in some cases.

Soothing the Male Organ

Whether the male organ has been sunburned, or is as far from it as can be, a soothing male organ vitamin cream (health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil) containing Shea butter, vitamin E, and other male organ nutrients can ease all sorts of ailments. A soothing male organ formula can reduce irritation from sunburn, dry skin, eczema, hives, chafing, and even soreness from overly aggressive self-love. The best part is that, because it is specially formulated for the delicate skin of the male organ, it won’t burn, itch or sting in the same way that other lotions and creams can. Apply daily after the shower to improve skin ailments, and maintain healthy male organ skin all year long.
