This week on the Spanish TV, the celebrity "El Follonero" showed the dark side of the spanish football and the money around this world.

Unfortunately no one can hide that the headquarters of football receive a lot of privileges from the spanish Administration and the greatest banks, but in today's article we want to talk about the positive side of football, for example, in tourism.

This month in Valencia we have experienced the most positive part of football and unfortunately we have before us the most negative outlook. Why?

During the month the city could state " no beds available " thanks to Football. The Final of the Copa del Rey between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, two consecutive visits Atletico Madrid risking their Spanish League and Europa League semi-final between Valencia CF and Sevilla FC, encouraged a lot of people to visit Valencia. There have even been tourists who have given up a sunny beach to see a football match to live the experience.

In addition to those stunning football matches every week tourists from America, from Australia, Asia or Russia, asking us for tickets to see a spanish football game. They spend a lot of money to get the best tickets. That´s happens in Valencia. Could you imagine what´s happen in Madrid and Barcelona?.La Liga is a great spanish company.

The tax administration "is not very harsh" with spanish football teams, because the spanish administration knows that spaniards loves Football and the administration knows that a lot of travellers from five continents come to Spain for watching players like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Iker Casillas, Andrés Iniesta, Neymar, Arda or Gareth Bale.

In Valencia after being one of the capitals in the world of football for a month, we back to reality because for the first time in many years the Valencia CF is not going to play in Europe and this is reflected in the lower interest of tourists for visiting Valencia. When Valencia CF plays in the european competitions, Valencia is more interesting for a lot of travellers.

Therefore, we must not underestimate football as a tourist motor, for example for Living Valencia because rents apartments in Valencia (Spain).
