Are you sick and tired of sitting all day long in a dingy, gray jail cell? Life goes on really quick from being an innocent child to teenage years, from new-found responsibilities in the young adulthood to creating your own family, Time never waits for us! Now workspaces are often regarded as a second home; after all, we tend to spend the maximum amount of our valuable time there. And that’s why it is very important to come up with a working space that is aesthetically pleasing as well as comfortable.

Okay, I know that when we are at work we mainly focus on the working but one must admit that there is definitely something about working in a beautiful, comfortable space that’s both refreshing and important. In fact, several researches have come up to a conclusion that decorated cubicles offer way beyond aesthetic benefits, I mean this might be in terms of psychologically or softening the negative effects. Besides, a lack of privacy or overstress environment can lead to emotional exhaustion and increased burnout rates, as well as decrease workers’ productivity.

If you ask me to explain in simple words, we don’t want our office workstation furniture to be boring. You can have fun, quirky and personalized stuff to motivate yourself. This will remove your Monday blues and brighten up your mood instantly. Further below I would like to mention a few ideas to brighten up your workspace in no time.

  1. Add a shelf- If you have ample of space then why not, try incorporating an aesthetic shelf resident. Other than books, wicker, paper, or crocheted balls, can be used to add a refreshing curve appeal to a space that’s very angular by nature.
  2. Personalize your space- Office desk plays a vital role in making or breaking your day. So start by keeping your desk clean and tidy. Dust it with some disposable wipes, or for a more eco-friendly option, invest in a washable duster. Once cleaning is done, start considering desk decorations that can boost productivity at the same time. Whether you keep paperweights on your desk or find some cute accessories that help you in organizing your crucial stuff. The right desk decorations just might make you smile when you’re having a particularly rough or low energy day.
  3. Incorporate Plants- I am sure you might have come across some of the chicest office decors featuring in one particular, i.e. green color. Never do that! Instead, try buying a couple little desk plants which can liven up your workspace. I mean if you don’t have time to water these plants every day, try a durable plant like a succulent or cactus. It may quite interest you to know that these plants are adverse to attracting bugs or allergies, so chances are there that your coworkers can appreciate your choice in cubicle decor ideas, too.
  4. Crazy color schemes- Cubicles are more likely to be the neutral-est of the neutral, which can be pretty boring at times. So why not think of incorporating your very own décor color scheme. Yellow, white, and grey can turn out to be a rare combination that adds a cohesive, personality-filled vibe to this otherwise totally cookie-cutter cubicle.
  5. Install organizing bins to your wall- If you have more vertical space then you can put in excellent use by installing bins. This also makes your desk look chic and stay organized. If you aren’t allowed or able to attach bins directly to your cubicle walls, consider using these bins in the corner of your desk, where they can still be seen and accessed but aren’t in the way.
  6. Cork boards to hang inspirational quotes- Million of things can be done with cork boards. Tack on some photos and reminders to help you stay on track or you can even print out some cute sayings or inspirational quotes to stay motivated.

So that’s all for now! Keep watching the space to know more!
