The minimum age for admissions is 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete this age on or before 31st December of year of admission.1.Should have passed the two years, Pre-University Examinations of Karnataka or equivalent examination as recognized by R.G.U.H.S with science subject Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English.2.Should have obtained at least 45% of total marks in physics, chemistry, biology and English subjects of the qualified examination. If belonging to a SC/ST having obtained 40% of the total marks in science subjects.3.The candidate should be medically fit.4.The candidate should obtain eligibility certificate from R.G.U.H.S, Bangalore and migration certificate from respective board/ university ( Out of state students).Post Basic BSc Nursing Course Eligibility criteria for admission :

1.Hold a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery [GNM]. Be a registered nurse.2.Have passed pre university examination in arts/science/commerce conducted by Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka State or its equivalent recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.3.Have working Knowledge of English.4.Be medically fit.5.Have good personal and professional record.6.Year of admission shall be eligible.

Eligibility for appearing examination:

1.A minimum of 80% attendance in theory and practical / clinical separately in each subject in each academic year is essential for appearing in the examination.2.A candidate must have 100% attendance in each of the practical areas before award of degree.3.Each academic year shall be taken as a unit for calculation the attendance.

General Nursing and Midwifery Course (GNM) Eligibility criteria for admission :The candidate should have:A minimum educational qualification of PUC / PDC / 10+2 or equivalent examinationpassed.Good conduct and should health and belongs to the age group between 19-35years.The candidate should be medically and physically fit.The candidate have to produce the following certificates during the time ofadmission.S.S.L.C. / X Std. certificate.PUC / PDC / 10+2 passed certificate.Recent conduct / character certificate from the principal of last attended college.T.C. / cumulative record.Physical fitness certificate.3 copies of recent photograph.Migration certificate.Eligibility criteria appearing for the examination:A minimum of 75% attendance is required in theory and practical in each subject forwriting the examination.There shall be a minimum of 3 internal examinations and 2 assignment in eachsubjects, the average of which shall form the mark for internal assessment.
