In fact, New Zealand investment immigration is the new buzzword amongst seasoned investors from across the world.

It is a great country to invest and live in. There are two categories of investment visa available for investors currently. The investor 1 resident visa and the Investor 2 resident visa. Under Investor 1 category if you have the capability of investing NZ Dollars 10 million over the period of 3 years then this category of Visa is for you. Your investment will be locked in for a period of 3 years. You must spend 44 days in each of the last 2 or 3 years in New Zealand. If you meet these criteria than this Visa allows you to stay in New Zealand indefinitely. With this Visa, you can work, live and study in the country. You can include your partner and children below 24 years of age in this Visa. Later on, you can also apply to become a resident. Under Investor visa 2 category you should have the capacity to invest 3 million NZ Dollars in the country over a period of 4 years in the country. You must be aged below 65 for this Visa though. For applying you have to submit an expression of interest along with proof that you have 3 years of business experience. You must be invested for the period of 4 years. You can include your partner dependent children below 24 years of age. This Visa allows you to work, live and study in the country indefinitely if you meet the criteria. You can also apply for permanent residence basis this Visa.
