Self-assessment

A computer aided planning and management platform can be useful in ensuring rapid deployment of high-quality heath information technology services (Umar & Zordan, 2009). The knowledge on this platform has been very useful to me as a learner as I have been able to use the same in planning and designing my system quickly than before. I have discovered that the aspects of computer aided planning are helpful in the production of a detailed plan for the ambulatory health clinics that can be useful in meeting the needs of minority populations of the underserved communities (Umar & Zordan, 2009). My time for production of a health IT system using a computer aided planning and gamification tool have greatly reduced, and I have also been able to identify issues at an early stage. I am able now to produce an extensive documentation consisting of integration requirements, detailed design requirements, and a project management guideline. These can also be useful as a checklist for minimizing the failures, for management and controls.

The future areas of research and investigation of this tool should include not only the design and documentation of health IT but also in the support of manufacturing activities in the manufacturing industries. The tool, when used in this industry, should have the ability to enhance the requirements for a given product early enough and help to identify the product mix as appropriate without spending much time in the same. That area should be thoroughly investigated so that operations can be enhanced appropriately.

Proposal

My proposal entails the development of a web-based program for a CPT that can offer a portal or platform where the patients and health practitioners can meet and share ideas. The health practitioners will post materials on the same that can help the patients and their families to share ideas that can help patients recover from trauma. The CPT is an evidence-based protocol for treating people with post-traumatic stress disorder as well as other corollary symptoms introduced by traumatic events (Center for Deployment Psychology, 2013). These traumatic events can put the life of a person in jeopardy because many people are unable to cope up with the situation. When this treatment is locked within the clinical gates, it will be hard for patients at remote places to access the services. That is the reason I intend to develop that platform so as to help even the patients that are at home.

The new platform will take place for three months, and I expect to approach the well-wishers and the donors to support this project fully as it will bear the desired fruits. The portal will help to provide the patients and their relatives the tips that they can use to help the trauma victims get out of the trauma as quickly as possible. That will culminate to the improvement of their performance of normal tasks because mostly when people are in the posttraumatic stress disorder state, and they are unable to carry out their daily chores effectively. The portal will be of benefit both to the victims’ families and the health sector as well as the government.
