So you are a licensed professional and own a clinic or law firm or other professional practices and need exposure. As an attorney, doctor, architect, accountant and a business professional in Orange County, you do not want to chase after clients and want to be subtle. The best method to find clients and to attract initial prospects in Orange County is to perform simple search engine optimization within your practice web site. What does that mean? Well, at minimum, you should have a title tag and description tag for every page of your site. If you don't know what that is, ask your web designer. The title and descriptions should be different from 1 page to another and must be relevant. For example, if you are a criminal attorney in Irvine, California, you need a title tag on your home page such as "Irvine California Best Criminal Defense Attorney | 949-xxx-xxxx". The description tag for the home page would be "Our Irvine criminal defense law firm provides services such as.......................". On the other hand, if you have a page about white collar crime, you need a title tag such as "Irvine California white collar crime criminal defense attorney" and a description tag that only describes your white collar services. So you should have a title and description tag (not in the body of your web site) in HTML header section of your site. Again, if this sounds 'French' to you, approach your web designer and ask him or her to add the title and description tags to every page of your site.

Besides search engine optimization, you can also engage in internet advertising (also known as Pay Per Click advertising) on Google, Yahoo and even social sites such as Facebook. So you advertise your web site with keywords such as "Irvine immigration lawyer" or "Irvine eye doctor" and every time someone clicks on the ad, they will be directed to your web site and you will pay anywhere from a few cents to many dollars to Google, Yahoo or Facebook. The key is to have great keywords that people who look for your services actually search for; ad copy that ONLY attracts your direct and best prospects (e.g. don't use keywords and ad copy that uses the words such as 'cheap doctors' if you plan to sell $10,000 plastic surgery)! Finally, once prospects search for keywords and see your ad, and then click on your ad, they better come to a page on your web site (i.e. landing page) that is related to the ad and keywords. As an example, if you are a criminal attorney in Irvine, when someone searches on Google for "mail fraud attorney" and clicks on your ad, don't send them to "violent crime" page of your web site!

Beside SEO and advertising, you can also create Facebook business page and attract prospects to the page. The sky is the limit for Orange County doctors, attorneys, accountants and other business professionals to market their practice.
