What is Powder Sieving???

Sieving separates dust from powder. Powder which could have compacted during recovery or transport is once again distributed into distinct fine particles.

Sieving is ideally undertaken just prior to use after powder recovery. Sieving the powder ensures proper flow characteristics and high quality surface finish.

Mitsuba offers the following two types of Powder Sievers as well as the complete Powder Management System.

Stand Alone Siever:

Sieve large quantities of recovered powder without disturbing your online coating process. Substantially reduce labor cost & eliminate wastage during manual spraying.

Summary of Benefits

  • Dedicated powder siever.
  • A new highly efficient lightweight siever.
  • No Maintenance with pneumatic turbine vibrator.
  • Superior separation efficiency.
  • Full Stainless Steel Construction.

Stand Alone Siever as the name indicates is independent of external factor and equipped with self-sieving technology of high capacity electric vibrator.

STAND ALONE SIEVER

The complete system is made of Stainless Steel which is easy to clean with no maintenance. It has the highest separation efficiency and is available with wide range of mesh to sieve even the finest powder which is required as per application.

When large quantities of oversprayed powder is recovered, it is necessary to sieve the powder before reusing to separate dust and impurities which might have contaminated while travelling from booth to recovery. Oversprayed powder is sieved and reused in proportion with fresh powder which reduces the wastage and hence results in cost saving. It can be used specially in automatic plants where no disturbance in time for powder collection is intended.

BATCH SIEVER:

Batch Sievers used as Hopper Mounting version: Quick and handy powder siever fits on hopper. After completing sieving, it is removed and the hoppers lid is replaced.

Summary of Benefits

  • Substantially reduced labor cost, & elimination of wastage during manual spraying.
  • The end result is superior finish, higher deposition efficiency& lower coating cost.
  • Efficient & light-weight stainless steel Siever.
  • Maintenance free pneumatic turbine vibrator for batch siever
  • Easy screen changing.

The Hopper mounted Sieve’s operating range of 20 - 60 psi is controlled by an air regulator. The sieve’s vibration HOPPER MOUNTED intensity should be set according to volume of powderor BATCH SIEVER sifted, condition of powder and flow rate desired.

Similar to Stand alone siever, it is made up of Stainless Steel with no maintenance & extremely easy to clean or use for change of powder color. It is efficient & suitable for powder coating system. The sieving mesh is mounted over the hopper & the system is ready to use along with powder siever.
