CTET 2018 | CTET 2018 Exam Dates & Admit Card

CTET 2018 Written Exam will cosntitute of 2 Papers: Paper 1 & Paper 2. CBSE will be conducting CTET 2018 Written Exam in two ways:

  • Candidates can give either Paper I (for class I to V) or Paper II (for class VI to VIII)
  • Candidates can give both the papers: Paper I & II (for class I to VIII)

Let's have a look at the exam pattern for both Paper I & II

Paper I: Will constitute of 5 sections having 30 marks allotted to each section. Total number of questions asked in Paper I will be 150 and total marks of the paper will be 150. The sections asked in Paper I are:

  • Language I (Compulsory)
  • Language II (Compulsory)
  • Mathematics
  • Child Development and Pedagogy
  • Environmental Studies

Paper II: This paper will constitute of 5 sections having 30 marks each. Total number of questions asked in Paper II will be 150 and total marks of the paper II will be 150 as well. The sections asked in Paper II are:

  • Language I (Compulsory)
  • Language II (Compulsory)
  • Mathematics & Science (For Maths & Science Teachers Only)
  • Child Development and Pedagogy
  • Social Science/ Social Studies (For social studies/social science teachers only)

There is no negative Marking for CTET 2018 Exam. This year, CTET is going to be conducted just once. Earlier CTET Exam used to be conducted twice every year. As the exam dates are round the corner, candidates must start judicious preparation for the exam. Attempt as many CTET Mock Tests as you can. Study through Video Courses and Classroom Programs.
