Introduction
The existing business enterprises face challenges in making choices for the best hardware devices and software devices to implement to upgrade their existing systems. The continuous rapid growth and development in technology have led to instability in business existing systems. The lack of compatible hardware devices and software systems has contributed to organizations need for infrastructure that guarantees future compatibility with new technological devices. The research study intends to develop the software system applying the Microsoft Dot Net programming technology to integrate software with the business operations. The Microsoft Dot Net programming language enhance the development of system software that allows easy embedding of the new hardware components as well as the integration with other newly invented software systems. The Microsoft Dot Net architecture is the most appropriate system software development technology since it integrates the Microsoft Windows operating system. The Microsoft Dot Net architecture has future framework oriented framework for building and running next-generation software applications and the web services. The Microsoft Dot Net framework provides the simplified and easy model for programming as well as deploying applications on Windows. The Microsoft Dot Net framework has the great advantage in the provision of multiplatform application development toolkit. The Microsoft Dot Net framework also provides automatic resource management and simplification of application deployment. The Microsoft Dot Net framework is the best programming platform for the business platform due to the provision of the secure programming paradigms within the code. The business security support provided by the Microsoft Dot Net framework include the code authenticity checking, the access resource authorizations, the declarative and the imperative security, and the cryptographic security methods for embedding into users’ application.

The research study shall focus at bringing the revival of the business enterprise using the recent trends and technology. The study research shall check on the application of the research analysis in upgrading the existing computer system. The area of concern shall include the hardware components like the server machines, the database and the network platforms. The hardware components shall acquire new virtual coding using the VMware technology. The research shall ensure that the company utilize the virtualization of the backup repository location via the implementation of the cloud computing. The research shall also check on the improvements on the nature of network connectivity within the local Area network and the Wide Area Network. The network issues addressed by the study shall involve the bottle neck issues, the speed on the transmission medium and the flexibility of network to support future increase of network end users.
The Methodology
The History of Action Research Methodology
The methodology was invented in 1940 by the Kurt Lewin. The methodology was applied in defining social problems and implementing the required response through implementation of the appropriate social changes (Park, et al…, 1998). According to Lewin action research methodology enabled him to conduct the research on the social problems amongst the members of the society. In the year 1946 Lewin applied action research in conducting a social research with an aim of settling the society conflicts that resulted to quarrels among the individuals. The research involved some participants who conducted the inquiry from the society to obtain data and the information. The social scientists were consulted within the study. The research resulted to a series of step by step spiral of iterations that involved four main stages including the planning stage, the action stage, the evaluation stage and the results analyzing stage. Following the invention of action research methodology by Kurt Lewin several philosophers implemented the methodology to effect changes in different sectors including education sector, the economic sector and the philosophy. Through action research methodology the school curriculum was changed making the society rely on the improved systems of education. Action research methodology contributed to the launching of other scientific research methodologies that imitated the action research main Kurt Lewin stages.
Definition Action Research
Action research methodology refers a process of study and implementing the work or the actions observed during the research study process. Action research involves cycles of inquiry and reflection. Action research can get conducted by individuals or group (Furtado, & Anderson, 2012). The action research process is characterized by the identification of problems and the possible solutions. The second is the development of the plan of actions that involves the collection of data and information using the appropriate data and the information collection techniques. The techniques for collecting data and information applied in the action stage include the questionnaire, the interview and the demographic observation. The third is the modification of the thesis or the phenomenon and repetition of the cycle. The last stage involves the reporting the results of the modifications through reflection of the objectives, goals and aims of the proposed project (Keating, et al…, 1998).
Action research consists of four themes that distinguish the action research methodology from other forms of the scientific research methodologies. The themes include the style of collaboration through participation of researchers; where by the researchers associate themselves with the experts and professionals in the field of study to gather data and information (Meadows, et al…, 1998). The second theme is the acquisition of knowledge where the researcher acquires skills and experience in develop solutions to the identified problems. The third theme is the social change where the researcher implements the solution that best solves the problems and the change is realized among the individuals implanting the solution. The stage involves installation of the solutions to the business operating departments. The last theme is the empowerment of participants through giving the learners opportunity to have clear understanding of the operation of the system through testing, elimination of bugs and verification. The themes get implemented through the iteration cycle of stages that includes the planning phase, the acting phase, the observation phase and the reflecting phase (Roth, et al…, 2007).
The Justification of Action Research Methodology
Action research is the most appropriate methodology applied in the development and implementation of the sophisticated and complex projects. Action research methodology makes the development of project easily manageable by dividing the project into simple manageable sections (Milton-Brkich, et al…, 2010). The sections can get further divisions to ensure that project is as made smaller and more definite. The smaller sections get implemented through iteration of cycles to ensure the required applications and elements get fixed appropriately. Action research methodology supports the launching of the newly developed system of cycles to facilitate the accumulation of new ideas. Action research models enable the project developers to implement the project from scratch without requiring substantial knowledge and understanding of the underlying architecture, coding techniques or the tools. Action research methodology give the developer chance to learn, gain knowledge and implement the knowledge in real life situation (Orland-Barak, & Becher, 2011). The methodology assists the learners and the students in the development of the project through systematic development approach. The students acquire the required knowledge in coding, testing and maintenance of the systems developed. Action research methodology developed high quality projects as the final products, meeting all the end user requirements.
