Posted: Dec 29, 2018
Subhi the rising star of the music industry is out there with her new melodious song, Dilbaro Unplugged. She has recreated the harmonious and the famous song of 2018, Dilbaro from the movie Raazi. This song is apt for the occasion of marriage as it shows beautifully the relationship of a father and daughter. The pivotal actor of the movie is Alia Bhatt, who marries a boy from Pakistan to fulfill her father’s wish. There is a major mission behind this marriage. As the father of Sehmat Khan that is Alia Bhatt wants to seek some pivotal information from the Pakistani army and the only way left was to send her daughter as the messenger of Indian Army. This song Dilbaro is played in the background at the time of Bidhai.
The well-versed and melodious singer, Subhi left no chance to bring this song more lively and refreshingly in her Dilbaro Song Cover. Originally it is sung by Harshdeep Kaur, Vibha Saraf, and Shankar Mahadevan. The music is beautifully composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. These meaningful lyrics are penned down by the great lyricist Gulzar.
Subhi is a singer, songwriter, composer based in Chicago. She lived in India until 16 years of age and then she was shifted to Chicago. Therefore, her music promotes the combination of both the cultural backgrounds, one of Indian classic and other Chicago jazz. With her dedication and hard work she went on to work as a composer, songwriter, lyricist, and vocalist for acclaimed short and independent feature films in the U.S., these were well acknowledged in the film festival circuit. As said if you are talented your talent can’t hide no matter in which part of the world you are sitting. So Subhi talent is also not left hidden as she got the chance to work with leading Indian digital platforms, including The Viral Fever (TVF) and Y-Films (YRF).
Expressions are the ultimate portrayal of our inner beauty. You can see this thought screaming with all their might in the visual treat which summaries the love of the two psychically challenged but mentally capable human beings and the pinch, punch, and power of the feelings that a broken heart invokes. Barfi is a perfectly and beautifully sewn narration that will sure to make every stone-hearted person to lose themselves in the rivers and rivers of salty but sweet tears. Though Anurag Basu has rendered Ranbir Kapoor completely deaf and mute, not once you will mourn the deafness of Ranbir who has impeccably covered up and portrayed each unsaid syllable of this movie through his excellent and exceptional expressions.
Making up for the words and the dialogues of the movie are the beautifully written, impeccably conceptualized and stunningly picturized songs of the movie, grabbing the hearts is Phir Le Aaya Dil Barfi Unplugged Cover Song which is saying more than what the lyrics are decoding. A ghazal composed by a larger than life music director Pritam Chakraborty and recently recreated by a Chicago based singer Subhi, the song is a rather surprise for the viewers as well as the listeners deeply submerged and completely lost in the mischievousness of Barfi’s character. Sung by the singer who sings more from hearts, Rekha Bhardwaj is the apt choice for this beautiful and heart-tugging creation.
