Bali needs no introduction these days. It is the most popular tourist destination in Indonesia and is known worldwide for its enchanting natural beauty and cultural offerings. Located between the Lombok and Java islands of the country, it is home to many beautiful temples that give visitors a unique spiritual atmosphere. The arts, music, and traditions of Bali also delight the tourists visiting the island destination. During your holiday spent on this island, you can savour many of its fabulous aspects. The best time to enjoy your bali holidays between April and October when the island goes through its dry season. It is characterised by warm temperatures, low humidity, and lesser rains. The rainiest season is the period between November and March. However, there are certain days in the month of January when there is little or no rainfall on the island. The rains on this Indonesian island may not hamper your plans of sightseeing and other outdoor activities. However, they'll certainly make you feel uncomfortable venturing out of your hotel room owing to high daytime temperatures and humidity.

One important thing to keep in mind is dressing in a proper attire and being respectful while visiting any of the island's temples.

As the island is well-known across the world for its exciting surf spots, you can have loads of fun surfing the magnificent waves rushing towards the sandy beaches. If you're interested in some extreme adventures, kite-boarding or kite-surfing would give you the right doses of thrills. Upon getting to the Ayung river, you'll find some challenging rapids that are ideal for white water rafting.

While holidaying in Bali, you can get to savour its mouth-watering treats as well. One of them is a delicacy called Mie Goreng or the Indonesian fried noodles. They are served with vegetables and meat. If you're looking for a dish prepared with rice, Nasi Goreng would be the best one. It is quite similar to Mie Goreng; but instead of the fried noodles, fried rice is used in its preparation. Nasi Goreng is eaten for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as it is the most popular staple of this island.
