The second common kind of braces is self-ligating braces, which doesn’t need the elastic ties. Rather the wire is seen moving the bracket. Time is required for this kind of braces and you experience less amount of pain in your teeth and fewer amounts of adjustments needed than the Natural Teeth Care braces.

Alternately, the clear braces can be self-ligating, which means the wire clips found over the brackets without a requirement for ligatures. The clear braces are known to have higher element of friction and often tend to be more brittle as compared to the metal braces. This can help in removing the appliances at the end of the treatment more difficult and time-consuming.
4. Damon Braces
These types of braces are self-ligating, which are fitted in the same fashion unlike the traditional metal braces.
