Express Entry Candidates are invited by Saskatchewan in its latest EOI draw.

In its latest draw held on 27 February 2019 a total of 83 invitations issued to apply for provincial nomination through Saskatchewan’s Express Entry immigration sub-category program.

Candidates who are invited expressed their interest and are registered under Saskatchewan’s International Skilled Worker express Entry sub-category.

It allows the province to nominate candidates in Federal Express Entry system for Canadian permanent residence.

The system of Express Entry manages the profiles of candidates for three of Canada’s main economic immigration categories like Federal Skilled Trade Class, Federal Skilled Worker Class and Canadian Experience Class.

Candidates of Express Entry are awarded an additional of 600 points who apply and receive a provincial nomination towards their Express Entry ranking score and candidates are effectively fast-tracked for an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

The candidates should register a separate expression of interest with Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) to be considered for a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan.

To apply for Expression of Interest, Information on multiple factors are required like Education, work experience, proficiency in French or English and connections to a province like a close family member or study experience in Saskatchewan or past work experience in Saskatchewan, etc.

Among other eligibility criteria, Express Entry candidates should have work experience in High-Skilled Occupation found on Saskatchewan’s In-Demand Occupations List.

Eligible Candidate profiles will be awarded by a score, and the candidates with 60 points or more are entered into the pool and a set of number of candidates with highest-ranked are then issued invitations through regular draws. The lowest ranked candidate with a score of 68 received an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination in February 27 draw.

Eligibility for Candidates who would like to establish, acquire or partner in business under Saskatchewan’s Entrepreneur category should meet specified provincial criteria.

Interested candidates should first submit an Expression of Interest to be eligible for Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

Based on Entrepreneur Categories points assessment grid the candidate's application will be screened for eligibility and ranking score will be provided.

Entrepreneurs who fulfill the terms of their Business Performance Agreement with SINP for at least six months can then apply to SINP for a provincial nomination for permanent residence.
