The hoverboard is a science-fiction term that is given to a skateboard which has the capabilities to float in the air. A better way to understand a hoverboard it is to take a normal skateboard, remove the wheels from it and attach a system that could make it move around in the air. Though the first ever self-balancing hoverboard with wheels was invented by Shane Chen, in the late 2013 and manufacture and distribution started in early 2014 in China and subsequently in the USA also.

Hoverboards are so convenient and easy to carry, approx. of 10-12kgs, it can be practically used at any smooth surface, like home, parks, streets, office, malls and mostly anywhere but of course by having a check on the laws.
