4. Mountain Snowmobile

• Mountain Snowmobile is made specifically for mountain riding, they are longer and narrower. the vehicle configuration allows for ridding hillside in mountainous terrain and through heavy powder. The vehicles have specifically designed long lug tracks, allowing them to manoeuvre through heavy, deep powder conditions. Mountain snowmobile generally has high horsepower engines, since horsepower is lost at higher elevations. The characteristics of a mountain snowmobile generally lend it to better handling abilities in mountain riding over trail riding.

5. Utility Snowmobiling

• These sort of snowmobiling are common when any work or utilitarian needs are required. The vehicles are longer, wider and quite heavier than the other four snowmobiles. The functionality of the snowmobile is exceptionally well on trails and heavy snow, and come equipped with electric start and reverse. Utility Snowmobile is often used to tow work sledges or toboggans.

6. Crossover Snowmobile

• The most versatile vehicle is what Crossover snowmobile is all about. These vehicles can go from the trail to powder and back. With a longer track for deep powder, these snowmobiles can be taken off the trail to find fresh powder in the woods. Suspension enhancements give it much greater handling for aggressive drivers and manoeuvrability in any certain situation.
