From the fear that peanut butter will stick to your tongue is the fear of someone is watching you, the world of phobia is full of bizarre fears. You may have heard about a bunch of common fears, but there are few fears that you or someone around you have, but do not know how to name it. There are fears that we have but are unexplored as we take those phobias as unimportant and as a routine thing. However, do not get feared that you have any disease after exploring your fear, phobias are common, and most of the people around us are having a fear of at least one thing in their life. Therefore, you are as normal and as healthy as other individuals. So, what are you waiting for, jump into the world of bizarre phobias and name your fear?

Nomophobia

Nomophobia is on the top of the list, and it is a modern world phobia. Nomophobia is the fear that your cellphone may run out of charge or out of service, you are out of credit, or your phone is lost. Yeah, you are thinking right it is one of the common phobias that almost all of us are suffering from, almost half of the cellphone users have nomophobia. The fear that what you will do if any of the above things happen.

Anatidaephobia

In the list of most weird phobias, Anatidaephobia (The Fear of Ducks) is another interesting fear that a duck is watching you constantly. People who have this phobia believe that there is a duck somewhere who is keeping an eye on them 24 hours a day. The word ‘Anatidaephobia’ is derived from a Greek word, ‘Anatidae’ that means duck while ‘phobia’ means fear. This phobia is generated mostly when you have a bad experience or incident with duck. Like a duck has attacked you or someone in front of you. Other people may find this phobia funny, while people suffering from it go through this fear every time. The thought that a duck is watching is on their mind all the time. It can lead to severe health conditions.

Ancraophobia

Ancrophobia is a fear of wind. Such people who have this phobia feel uncomfortable around the windows or outdoor. They can become anxious even while passing through overhead air vents or even hand dryers. Like most of the fears, it is believed that any past incident resulted in triggering this fear in the subconscious of a person.

Linonophobia

It is another interesting fear that you may not have heard about. Linonophobia refers to a fear of string. Such people may not feel comfortable when they see a string. It can be any kind or size of the string that causes anxiety in them. It is a rare phobia, but people who have it are in serious trouble, as there are strings all around us in our clothes, blankets, furniture, etc. Individuals generate this fear due to any negative association with string due to any past incident.

Alice in Wonderland (AWS) Syndrome

It is a rare neurological condition that results in various episodes of disorientation of colors, sizes, textures, and distance that are different from reality. For instance, you may feel smaller or larger than your actual size. You may feel that the texture of your living room sofa is velvet-like while it can be rough. You may get a feeling that the table is far from you while it is right beside you. These episodes are not due to any problem with your eyes but your due to your brain. This syndrome can affect all your senses like touch, see, smell and hear. You may also not be able to keep track of time. There are many common symptoms of Alice Wonderland Syndrome including migraine, perception distortion, size distortion, sound distortion or time distortion. The serious condition may also lead to loss of coordination or even control of your limbs. You will feel your muscles are moving against your will. Well symptoms and consequences of AWS is distortion, but it is still not harmful.
