Canada PR Timeline Easiest Way to Migrate Canada - Express Entry

Canada’s PR Visa program is designed to attract dynamic individuals from around the world. The program selects the eligible candidates and gives them the support they need to build, compete on a global scale and provide development to Canada.

The Express Entry program can be categorized into 3 streams:

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP): skilled workers with admissible age, education qualification, language skills and work experience.
  • Federal Skilled Trade Program (FSTP): semi-skilled or unskilled workers with basic education, language skills and experience.
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC): individuals having previous experience in Canada.

Below is the Canada PR timeline for Express Entry:

  1. Educational Credential Assessment. You need to get your Education Assessment Credential (ECA) done by one of IRCC’s approved parties. Applicant needs to have a minimum education level to qualify for the Express Entry.
  2. Language ability exam. For all the programs for immigration, you need to take an English or French language exam and score a number of points to be eligible. These mandatory exams consist of domains such as Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening.

Both, step 1 and 2, which is the ECA and the language exam, would take around 1.5 to 3 months to complete, depending on the applicant.

3. Create Express Entry profile. Once the application gets their ECA and language exam score, they can apply and create an express entry profile which usually takes around 2-3 hours. One needs to be careful while filling in the details, as wrong information might lead to rejection of the application.

Have enough CRS score, and get an invitation to apply (ITA). Once you receive the ITA, then only you are allowed to apply for permanent residence. You will have 60 days to fill additional forms and submit the supporting document post receiving the ITA.

  1. Collect supporting documents. Collect supporting documents in the checklist that ensures to collect every document which will be required for the situation. You will also be asked to submit an up to date of a police background clearance certificate.
  2. Submit Application. This is the final step of Canada PR timeline are requires one to submit the complete application along with a document checklist. Both, step 4 and 5 takes around 1-2 months to process.
