A recent accusation stated on Nintendo suggests that the brand has been selling out the vital data of their users to other social networking sites like Facebook. One such Nintendo online services subscriber unveiled that the Nintendo Switch was enlisted in a list of brands that shared their information to advertising agencies.

A post on Reddit with a username Valerokai revealed a screenshot from the Facebook accounts Ad Preferences page. Manly this page is dedicated to information associated with the advertisements that might interest the user as per their preferences.

As per Valerokai, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo UK stores are behind this unwanted advertising and Nintendo has leaked her personal information like email ID, phone number, address to Facebook for advertisement purposes.

Reeling from one of the worst such security breaches in history, Sony warned all users of the PSN network – used to play games online and download content including films – that they should be alert for fraudulent activity on their credit cards.
