The National War Memorial - Wellington Street

This significant monument commemorates individuals from the Canadian Armed Forces who fought in World War I. The granite structure comprises of bronze figures that represent and symbolise peace, and in front of the memorial is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, which contains the remains of an unidentified Canadian soldier. The national Remembrance Day ceremony is held here every year.
