Another Lion of Allah-Almighty of Makkah

Abu Dujana was the Makkan Sahabi who was given the title of another Lion of Allah SWT. He belonged Ansaar embraced Islam early among the Muslims. He was well-known for his piety strength and bravery in the expedition. In the battle of Uhud, he showed the spirit of boldness and bravery. Before starting the battle Prophet (saw) said, "Who would take this sword to accomplish its right?

There were ‘Ali bin Abi Talib RA, Az-Zubair bin Al-‘Awwam RA and ‘Umar bin Al-Khattab RA who had the urge to take that sword. But that was not given to anyone. Abu Dujana RA hoisted and asked, "O Allah’ Apostle, what is its price?" The Prophet SAW replied that that was to strike the face of opponents with that until that broke. At that Abu, Dujana said that he would it for that price. So, he was given the sword by the Prophet (SAW).

He was the man of courage and always wore the red headband around his head as all knew that was determined to fight to the death. Thus he wore a red headband and took the sword of Prophet (SAW) and advanced to the infidels. Marks are a pretty witness which can be perceived trough luxury umrah package after proceeding Umrah. Thus, the war started and numbers of acts regarding courage could be noted from many of Sahaba. However, Abu Dujana was prominent by wearing the red headband came forth fighting with the sword of the Prophet (SAW). He was an enthusiast to pay its price at all costs. He killed the numbers of pagans who stood on his way dreadful and scattering their ranks. Al-Zubair Bin Al-awam said that when Prophet (SAW) announced to give the sword, so he was confident to take that but the sword was given to the Abu Dujana. Then I said to myself that I am his paternal cousin also the cousin of his aunt Safiya (RA) and I also belong to his tribe. Moreover, I was first demanded but I was not given. Thus he further added that he had seen infidels who had announced beware of Abu Dujana as he was ready to render his death".

At that Abu Dujana said loudly, "I am here to get the martyrdom and fulfill the desire of my Messenger of Allah-Almighty. Suddenly, he stopped the sword when he felt that there was a woman before him. He said that I respect the sword of the Prophet (SAW) and would never kill the woman. Indeed that was the wife of Abu Sufyan who participated in Quraysh side. But later on, she embraced Islam during the conquest of Makkah and made Tawaf around the Kaabah. As Tawaf is the best way to get the salvation of Allah (SWT) and if you want to perform Umrah in December 2020 then you will be the lucky one.

Thus, Zubair Bin Al-Awam said that I said to myself that Allah and His Messenger know best.

After the demise of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and in the reign of the second caliph of Islam, Abu Bakar (RA) he participated in several expeditions.
