They are created through the process of grafting and are available in green, white, yellow and red variance.

Borneo

The Borneo strains are next to Maeng Da in terms of its popularity. Borneo is the largest island of Asia and it shares part of the landmass with Indonesia and Malaysia. The strains of kratom obtained from Borneo are available in all the four strain colors i.e. - white, yellow, red and green, where the green and red vein variety are the most popular.

Bali

These Kratom strains have their origin in Indonesia. Bali is smaller in size than Borneo and it is an island province located in Indonesia and on the other side of Java Sea. This strain is available in red, white and green vein variants and is popular as an effective pain reliever.

Indo

Indonesian or ‘Indo' kratom is another strain of kratom that is referred to a wide variety of kratom grown in many parts of Indonesia including parts of Bali and Borneo. Malaysian

As the name suggests, this strain of kratom originates from Malaysia and is identified by its location. The super Green Malay or SGM is a popular variant among the different strains of Malaysian kratom. Thai

Owing to the fact that kratom is illegal in Thailand; the Thai strains of kratom are comparatively less popular. It is available in all the four color variants of kratom. It is believed that most of the kratom strains that are marked as ‘Thai kratom’ are likely to have their origin in Indonesia.

Sumatra

Sumatra is an island located in Indonesia. Though the island is bigger in size than Bali, this particular strain of kratom, is, however, gaining its popularity only recently. This Kratom strain is available in all the four color variants.

Kalimantan

Kalimantan is a province situated in Borneo. Though strains obtained from this region is considered different from the Borneo strains of kratom, however, the points of difference between the two are not properly known. Bentuangie

This is a very rare strain of kratom and is comparatively expensive than other general strains of kratom available. Unlike other strains of kratom, that involved a drying process, this particular strain of kratom is fermented in a bag. It is said that this process of fermentation adds a unique flavor to this strain of kratom and also increases the alkaloid percentage in it.
