If you’re a fan of dirt bike and ATV riding, chances are you’re constantly looking for the best off-road trails to practice your sport. No matter where you live or where you choose to ride, there are going to be some off-road trailers that are better than others.

From trails in Oregon to the trails of West Virginia, you can find some incredible ATV rides out there. So once you've visited supply stores like Chaparral to get everything you need to put your dirt bike and ATV on the road, read on for a few of the best trails to visit on the road.

China Hat, Oregon

Whether you live in the area or not, you need to try and visit China Hat, Oregon to ride the off-road trails. And because of the dry conditions in the area, you can ride these trails all year round, so you can visit any time of year. Just be warned that it gets cold in the winter, so make arrangements if you're riding then.

The area gets its name from the fact that it's shaped like a hat, and it’s a blast to ride, whether you're on an ATV or a dirt bike. Don't forget to get the accessories needed for your dirt bike before heading out, however, as you're not going to want to leave this trail to go shopping.

The Hatfield-McCoy Trails, West Virginia

The Hatfield-McCoy Trails is probably one of the most ridden ATV trail systems in the United States, and certainly one of the most famous. With over 600 miles of trails to boast about, you can ride from town to town, seeing different views along the way. There are also trails for different skill levels along the way.

As you might have guessed, these trails were named after the famous families from the Hatfield and McCoy feuds that happened in the late 1800s. Many families take what is known as the seven day challenge on these trails.

Black Mountain, Kentucky

One challenging ATV trail you won't want to miss is the Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Park in Kentucky. You can push the limits of your ATV by climbing the mountain, which is the highest in the area. Now that's something to boast about to your friends when you get back home.

Mojave Desert, California

You can ride for days in the Mojave Desert and never see the same piece of dirt twice. The best time to make that trip, however is from October to April. As you might have guessed, the summer in the Mojave Desert is extremely hot and can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.

If you're going for the long haul, there are places you can stop for a night's rest along the trails as well. Make sure that you follow all safety precautions along these trails, as well as any trails you decide to ride with your ATV or dirt bike to be on the safe side.

McCall, Idaho

If you've never been riding in McCall, Idaho then you're missing out on something great. Not only does it have some of the most fabulous mountain ranges for you to ride, there is still plenty to do when you're not on your bike.

Happy riding and be careful out there. Stay hydrated and follow all the safety rules for an amazing riding trip.
