Regarded as a grass crop, sugar cane is best consumed raw or in the form of a juice. Naturally sweet and enjoyable, it is one of the rare few juices in which you do not have to add any sugar. You can also enhance its flavour profile by adding healthy ingredients like ginger juice or dry ginger powder, lemon and mint leaves. Summer Surprise

Ingredients

  • 200 ml freshly squeezed sugar cane juice
  • 200 ml freshly squeezed water melon juice
    • Tsp. lime juice
  • 500 ml club soda. You can also opt for any lemon soda of your choice
  • Ice Cubes as per requirement
  • Method

  • Prepare the watermelon juice in a blender or juicer at home by removing all the seeds. Do not add any water or sugar while preparing the juice in the blender.
  • Take a large mixing bowl. Add the watermelon juice along with the freshly squeezed sugar cane juice in it and add the lime juice to it.
  • Now add some ice cubes in a tumbler. Pour the mixture in the tumbler, until it is half-full.
  • Fill the remaining tumbler with the club or lemon soda.
  • Serve chilled.

    Ingredients

  • 1 cup of freshly squeezed sugarcane juice
  • 1 cup of fresh tender coconut water
  • 1 piece of kiwi fruit
  • 1 inch piece of ginger
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • Crushed ice as per requirement
  • Method

  • Peel the kiwi fruit and chop it into medium sized pieces.
  • Now peel the ginger and chop it finely.
  • In a blender, add the kiwi, coconut water, lemon juice and chopped ginger and blend it until you get a smoothie like consistency.
  • Remove the mixture from the blender into a tumbler.
  • Now add the sugar cane juice to the mixture and stir it well.
  • Add some crushed ice to the beverage and serve chilled.

    Ingredients

  • 5 cups of freshly squeezed sugarcane juice

    • tbsp. lemon juice
    • tsp salt
    • tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice

    Method

  • Take a deep bowl and add all the ingredients in the same order as mentioned in the ingredients list. Combine them together and mix them properly.
  • Now take a shallow aluminium container and pour this blend it in.
  • Put the mixture in the deep freeze and let it sit there for approximately 5 hours.
  • Remove the mixture from the freezer and blend it in a mixer.
  • Serve it chilled while it is fresh out of the mixer.
