How healthy we all are and how we could be healthier seems to be a topic that is constantly appearing in today’s media. From eating our vegetables to making sure we have drunk eight glasses of water a day, there seems to be no end to things we should do to make sure we are healthy.

However, simple things like drinking water should not be underestimated. It does not take much and can benefit your health in more ways than one. A product that has emerged and for some people has considered simply a trend is mineral water. Most people would say that when they drink their eight glasses a day, they should drink the cheapest water from their tap and not spend anything in mineral water. However, interestingly, tap water can kill the body’s natural bacteria that are needed for a strong immune system.

Despite this, bottled mineral water is a costly alternative and water is so important; It should be readily available in places, particularly in the workplace. Water dispensers are now widespread in offices everywhere, as companies are aware of the need for a hydrated worker. The dehydrated worker can struggle a lot with concentration compared to the hydrated worker. This seems more evident when one considers that our bodies are composed mainly of water.

Throughout the day, our body loses water constantly through functions such as going to the bathroom, breathing, and perspiring. Not only this but other factors, such as temperature, can greatly influence the amount of water that we end up losing.

To stay hydrated at all times, it is good to drink water before, after and during any exercise or physical activity. But the amount of water you need to drink will depend on the amount of perspiration and the difficulty of the activity.

The temperature inside your workplace will also affect the amount of water you need to ingest daily. A slightly warm and close office can be very unpleasant and when the temperature is like this, a delight would come in the form of a cup of ice water to keep your thirst at bay. That is why it is important that you have access to cold water all day, preferably in a water dispenser. A water dispenser will provide your office with chilled water very quickly and conveniently.

People become more dehydrated during the colder months because they feel less thirsty in the colder climates than in the hot ones. But a heated office will make you sweat without being aware of it. Therefore, you should not wait until physically thirsty to drink, but drink at intervals during the day and, more importantly, when you eat.

It is worth considering when you enter and leave the office in the winter months wrapping them in layers and removing them so that the body sweats and adapts to the change of climate. If you are poor during the winter, it is even more important to drink more water to maintain high levels of hydration in your body. Water dispensers throughout the United Kingdom should be used more in the colder months than in the hotter ones. Doctors recommend that people consume around 1.5 to 2 liters of water a day, depending on how active each one is. So when you work hard, remember to drink regularly in the water dispenser.
