Wondering how to connect a Nintendo Switch to a TV? If yes, then you have come to the right place. We will tell you the easiest and best method to so. Nintendo is a popular handheld gaming console which lets a user play games on the go. You can also use it to connect with your TV and enjoy gaming on a big screen.

We have split the process into five steps so you can understand the whole process in a more natural way. So without wasting any more time, let’s get started.

1. Wiring

When you bought a Nintendo Switch, you got a grey-black wiring kit for connecting your console to the TV. Take this stuff out and open the back of this grey and black dock. You will see two cable ports there. The top side port is for AC adapter, which will provide power to the device. The port beneath of the AC power is an HDMI 2.0 port to plug into the TV with an HDMI cable. If you think that your console can be connected to a TV wirelessly, then you are wrong because Nintendo console only works with wires.

2. Make Your Console Ready

Once you have plugged in all the necessary cables, you can close the dock of the console. Now place your gaming console inside the dock. Then slide the switch that is located at the top of the dock, with the screen facing towards switch logo. There is also a small connector point at the down direction of the dock which goes inside the console.

3. Release the Controllers from Your Nintendo Switch

If you have not released them out from it, then you may do that now to play games wirelessly. To release the controllers, shift the slide switch to upward direction. This switch is located at the backside of your controller. By doing that your console will release its controllers.

4. Turn-On Your TV

Wake it up and set it to the correct HDMI input source. You can change the source by pressing the source button on your TV’s remote. You can now enjoy gaming in 1080 resolution.

5. Enjoy Your Favorite Games on Big Screen

See the difference in graphics and enjoy full HD gaming experience on your TV. Many people use Nintendo Switch to play games on TV because everyone loves playing on a big screen. It only takes a while to connect a Nintendo Switch to a LED TV, but the deep gaming experience will be a treat for your hard work.
