What is TNPSC Exam?

TNPSC – Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Exam is the recruitment examination. This exam is mainly conducted for recruiting the candidates for the various posts in the department of Government of Tamil Nadu.

Candidates those who are prefer to work in the government of Tamil Nadu, can write the

TNPSC Exam. It is the opportunities to work under the government of Tamil Nadu. Exams conducted by TNPSC have four group exams. The exams are TNPSC Group 1, TNPSC Group 2, TNPSC Group 3 and TNPSC Group 4.

TNPSC is conducting TNPSC Group 1 Exam once in two year. TNPSC Group 1 and TNPSC Group 4 exam is conducting every year.

Candidates who are all want to apply TNPSC exam for first time, they have to do registration as new user first. While registration, candidates will create the user id and password first and fill the other details for registration.

After finishing the registration, using that login id and password they can apply for the exam. If candidates already done registration before any of the exam, so candidates can directly apply for the exam with the login id and password you have.

Eligibility criteria to apply for TNPSC Exam:

Candidates who are apply for TNPSC Exam they should have the criteria mentioned below,

• Age limit: their age limit should from minimum 21 yrs to maximum 38 yrs
• Education qualification: They should pass 10th, 12th and have degree graduate.

Selection process for recruitment:

The recruitment has three stage of selection process to finalize the eligible candidates. The stages are,

• Preliminary Exam
• Mains Exam
• Interview process

TNPSC Group 1 exam and TNPSC Group 2 exam will have all these three stages of process. TNPSC Group 4 exam will have only preliminary exam and interview process.

Exam Pattern:

• Preliminary Exam: It has 200 questions for 300 marks with 3 hrs time duration
• Mains Exam: It is also conducted for 300 marks with 3 hrs time period
• Interview process: Mark will be varying for each exam
