Finding a co- working space anywhere can be a bit difficult, but definitely not impossible. The idea of a shared workspace is slowly catching on India and the Delhi- NCR region has already seen a huge boost in the number of co-working spaces being rented in the past couple of years. These spaces are extremely popular among start- ups which do not want to invest heavily in a huge office space at the time of the inception of the company and would rather use the money for business development at a later stage. Naturally, the budget is a major factor here and here are some ways to find the perfect co- working space in Delhi within stretching the pockets:

A good location: To start with, the location of the co- working space is very important. True, that an office space towards the outskirts of the city will be much cheaper as compared to one which is located in the heart of Delhi, but in case it happens to be way off the city limits, it would just make it all the more difficult to get there on time, and would require that much more time and effort, not to mention the increase in the conveyance costs, which would actually prove to be more costly for the start- up in the long run. Choose an area of Delhi which is not very far from the main city and yet has the basic amenities that will make it easier for the employees at work. This will keep the expenses in check as well as provide all that you need for.

Comfortable interiors: Rather than spending money on a very posh building, invest in a space that has comfortable interiors. The office buildings in Delhi mostly tend to look the same but what makes a shared workspace stand out is the instant feeling of comfort and relaxation- an ambience that does not stifle the creativity but instead makes the employee feel at home. Hence, rather than opting for a new age office building with the same monotonous, office like interiors, which will also prove to be more expensive, look for a cozy nook in a peaceful locality which is spacious and relaxing at the same time. This will definitely help you cut down the costs as compared to hiring premises in a regular office building.

Fewer trimmings: Coworking spaces are a lot easier to maintain mostly because they are smaller in size. Make sure you have the amenities required for comfortable working- like proper seating and lighting, a strong broadband connection and of course, lots of coffee. Other than that, look for some open space where the employees will be able to gather around and spend some time with each other. It need not have extra trimmings like a great décor, or a fancy café. At least, not in the initial stages. Once the start-up has started to reap in the profits, the premises may be upgraded and the employees are going to perfectly understand.

Premises in Delhi can be expensive, but with these few tips in mind, you will find a workspace which will fit the bill perfectly.
