How to score high in SSC CGL TIER II Exam

For every Indian graduate who aspires big for a Government job, SSC CGL exam holds a special significance for him. Besides delivering job security and good social status, these jobs guarantee rewarding salary packages with good incentives. Hence, graduates from every stream strive hardest for these jobs, making it one of the most competitive examinations of India.
Before beginning this discussion, we should first know and understand that syllabus of SSC CGL Tier-II is similar to syllabus of SSC CGL Tier-I exam but the questions in Tier-II are more conceptual and tougher. To be precise, the syllabus is same for sections like Quantitative Ability and English Language and Comprehension but the difficulty level of questions of Tier II Exam is higher than that of Tier I Exam.

Among all sections, Quantitative Aptitude section is the toughest, puzzling and most comprehensive section. If you want to score well in this section then you have to prepare each and every topic individually. So, do pick one topic a day and prepare it methodically by learning its basics properly. Do practice problems related to them with full sincerity.
The procured study material should be based on latest syllabus and exam pattern. It should be well-compiled and should have sample test series and exercises for every topic. The topics of this section are mainly associated with Finance and Accounting, Economics and Governance. The frequently asked questions are from Current Affairs, Static General Knowledge, and significant events related to the sectors related to these topics. You should connect yourself with latest news and happening by reading daily newspapers, watching news channels and websites etc. For static GK, do refer to latest editions of standard textbooks which can provide you accurate facts and figures. Do refer to previous year papers to understand the nature of question paper, type of questions and distribution of marks topic-wise.
