nfortunately, people can't gift digital games to others through the PlayStation Store yet.

The only way to "gift" a digital game is by purchasing a PlayStation Store gift card and giving that to your friend so that they can use it to purchase a game on their account.

If you don't have enough money to buy gift card then visit below linkhttps://www.icardgenerator.com/playstation/

What is PlayStation gift card?

PSN stands for PlayStation Network. PSN code is nothing but the gift card issued by the PlayStation Network to purchase games on PlayStation Store.

PSN codes are helpful when it comes to other payment methods. You are also allowed to share this card with other PlayStation members.

The PSN codes are mainly used by kids to purchase a game inside the PlayStation Store as they do not have access to credit cards.

PSN codes are available on various offline and online retailers.

Why can't we gift digital games anymore?

Effective as of April 1, 2019, Sony no longer allows retailers to sell full digital game download codes.

"We can confirm that as of April 1, 2019, Sony Interactive Entertainment will no longer offer full games through SIE's Global Digital at Retail program," a PlayStation spokesperson told The Verge.

"This decision was made in order to continue to align key businesses globally. To support full games and premium editions, SIE will introduce increased denominations at select retailers. DLC, add-ons, virtual currency, and season passes will still be available."

Previously people were able to buy digital game codes through stores like Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. Now that's no longer an option.

What are my alternatives?

Because the PlayStation Store doesn't support game gifting yet, your only other option to gift a full digital PS4 game isn't ideal.

You'll need to work around the policy by purchasing a PlayStation Store Gift Card and giving it to your friend, allowing them to purchase whatever digital game they want for themselves through their own account.

What good is the PlayStation Store wish list then?

You might be asking yourself why bother have a digital wish list feature if your friends can't use it. Well, that digital wish list is for yourself so you can keep track of the games you may want to purchase in the future.

Can Xbox users gift digital games through the Microsoft Store?

Yes, Xbox players can gift digital games to their friends through the Microsoft Store, but the caveat is that you can only gift to another person in the same region as you.

For instance, if you live in the U.K. and try to gift someone in the U.S. a digital game, they won't be able to redeem it and you'll be out a chunk of change for whatever you spent on it.

When will the PlayStation Store support digital game gifting?

PlayStation has not stated when, or even if, digital gift giving will become a feature that the store supports.

Given that Sony recently enacted a policy that blocks retailers from selling full game digital download codes, we're hoping that gift giving is coming sooner rather than later.

But as always with this type of thing, don't hold your breath.
